Hi Char; This is what I Do and so far, no problems. Pull the vacumn fuel line from the carburettor and run the motor "out of gas", that way the carb is dry and there will be no fuel deposit problems in the carb at all. You can stabilize the fuel in the tank if you want, but I never did and I never had a problem, but then I never let it sit for months and months either. Depends on you I guess. I have a little battery charger for bikes and it has a setting on it for trickle charge which will keep the battery from going dead. I keep the bike dry in a garage and wait for nice days to take it out. I live in Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh. Frank M.
